August 28, 2009 - The Center for Digital Government (CDG) announced their 2009 Digital Counties Survey results, with ActiveGovernment’s client, Roanoke County, winning the top digital counties award for its 150,000-249,999 population category. The 2009 Digital Counties Survey identifies the best practices and recognizes those counties with exemplary digital service to their citizens. ActiveGovernment’s hosted Citizen Request Management (CRM) software was a key component in the County’s win.
Using ActiveGovernment’s hosted CRM software solution, Roanoke County has been able to improve its ability to track, route and manage citizen inquiries and requests across all of its divisions. Also, the CRM solution has provided citizens the added benefit of being able to submit and track requests online, receive a quicker and more consistent response to requests, and access a knowledgebase containing answers to frequently answered questions.
