Active Network, Government Strengthens Position in Ontario with Leading Cashiering and Payment Management Software

September 27, 2008 - The Active Network, Inc. has been selected by five communities from the province of Ontario, Canada, to provide integrated cashiering and payment management solutions. The recently signed governments include:

• City of Kingston
• City of Cambridge
• City of Guelph
• Town of Milton
• Town of Halton Hills

These deals bring the total number of government payment management customers in Ontario to 12, representing approximately 1.5 million residents. With payment management, local governments will be able to provide their citizens with one-stop service delivery while benefiting from improved daily operation efficiency and reduced operating costs.
